Theatre & Conversation: In Flanders Fields
April 26, 2017 –
In celebration of the month of poetry, In Flanders Fields will serve up an evening of music and poetry as a celebration of Poets and Composers of the Great War 1914-1918. The voices of Rupert Brooke, Wilfred Owens, and Siegfried Sassoon will resonate, reminding us again of the terrible cost of modern war, while composers including Francois Poulenc and Charles Ives will be served up by singers, members of Alliance for New Music-Theatre.
Alliance for New Music-Theatre in partnership with The President Woodrow Wilson House continues its year-long inaugural series of lively cultural evenings in the Dupont-Kalorama neighborhood - Theatre and Conversation.
